creating the deck
During the course of designing these cards, Iʼve spent an absurd amount of time looking at Van Goghʼs paintings up close. Zooming in feels like seeing pure creativity under a microscope. I started noticing things I’d never seen before—unexpected color combinations, brushstrokes that seem to vibrate with movement.

Many of his paintings really do have a kind of magic to them. They pull you in, hypnotize you, and leave you in a state of wonder. The closer you look at his paintings, the more you see. And that’s exactly what we’re doing when we work with tools like the Tarot and Oracle cards. We’re zooming in on our own lives, internally and externally. When we have the willingness to look at things a bit closer, patterns tend to emerge.
